Truluck's Uptown: Seafood restaurant plans 2027 move across the street

Truluck's Ocean's Finest Seafood & Crab will move its Dallas location to One Uptown in early 2027.

The restaurant, which has occupied 2401 McKinney Ave since July 1998, plans to relocate to 2619 McKinney Ave. The new address sits just down the street from the current site. The move marks the end of nearly three decades at the original location.

Chris Davis, Operating Partner of Truluck's Dallas, stated that guests have integrated the restaurant into their lives for almost 30 years. Davis said the new space offers a beautiful setting for dining, live music, and the bar experience. The company invited patrons to visit the current location throughout the holiday season to celebrate shared memories before the transition.

The new interior features an expansive central bar with happy hours and a grand piano for live performances. Curved booths, greenery, and sculptural lighting define the dining room. Executive Chef Manny Vera, a team member since 1998, will lead the menu. The lineup will include signature items such as seasonal Florida stone crab, hand-cut steaks, Miso-Glazed Sea Bass, and South African Lobster Tails.

The relocation aims to expand the venue's atmosphere of modern elegance and warmth. The opening is expected in early 2027. The current location will remain open until the move is complete.
