Trent's Pizzeria at 1602 Clear Lake City Blvd. in Houston has permanently closed.

The restaurant announced the shutdown on its Facebook page on Tuesday, ending a two-year run in the Clear Lake area. The post thanked loyal customers and friends for their support while stating the team made the hard decision to stop operating.

"We have made the hard decision not to continue after two years here in Clear Lake. God bless, and thank you all," the pizzeria wrote in the announcement.

Trent Wallace, the owner, opened the shop in November 2024. He took over the space that previously housed a Village Pizza and Seafood location. Wallace described himself as a second-generation pizzeria owner with a passion for real pizza and honest food.

The establishment focused on New York-style pies cooked in brick ovens to achieve a crispy crust. The menu included wings, subs, calzones, and desserts, all prepared from scratch in the casual delivery and takeout spot.

The business did not provide a specific reason for the closure. The abrupt news prompted emotional responses from local patrons who expressed shock and sadness. One commenter said her husband would be heartbroken and noted they had ordered from the shop just the previous week. Another wrote that the restaurant would be missed and wished the team well in future endeavors.

The Houston Chronicle contacted the restaurant for further details but had not received additional information as of publication.
