Memphis entered Saturday as the sole undefeated franchise in the NBA, a status it preserved with a 136-105 victory over the Sacramento Kings. The win keeps the Grizzlies at a perfect 6-0 record, matching the team's best start since the 2014-15 season.
The Grizzlies controlled the game in the second half, building a lead that reached 34 points. Rookie Cameron Boozer led the scoring with 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Isaiah Stewart added 24 points for the home side.
GG Jackson contributed 21 points, converting all five of his three-point attempts during the first half. Cam Spencer started at point guard because Ty Jerome and Scotty Pippen Jr. sat out with back issues. Spencer recorded 10 points and dished out 13 assists.
De'Andre Hunter finished with 19 points for Memphis. On the Sacramento side, Domantas Sabonis and Zach LaVine each scored 11 points. Sabonis also pulled down 14 rebounds and provided eight assists.
The Grizzlies' status as the last remaining perfect team followed the Houston Rockets' 116-111 loss in Dallas on Friday night.
